The project was recently awarded EU funding to further explore possibilities. The Jutland corridor is a transport corridor in Western Scandinavia that connects Norway, Sweden and Denmark via Jutland with Hamburg and continental Europe. The Jutland corridor includes road, rail and sea transport, and is of great importance for the companies, as well as for the development in the surrounding regions.  The project "Green Jutland Corridor" will investigate the possibilities for making transport in the corridor even more efficient and sustainable. It has been awarded support from the EU's interregional program for Øresund–Kattegatt and Skagerrak in December. It was kicked off in January and will be completed in 2025. The total budget is NOK 25.8 million, of which NOK 10.2 million is allocated to the Norwegian partners in the project. "Both politicians and the administration in the county council have been rallying for the Green Jutland Corridor. It is pleasing that we now see a broad interest in the project. Photo: Rolf Marthinsen *   ## Many partners Green Jutland Corridor consists of 26 partners from municipalities, ports, transporters and business in Norway and Denmark.  "We will hold events and facilitate dialogue with stakeholders who see opportunities and want to invest in the project," says Ehnmark. The project will explore the possibilities that emerges now that EU has defined the Jutland Corridor as part of ScanMed, which is one of the EU's main corridors through Europe. The project will also analyze the flow of goods, and asses the potential for a smaller climate footprint. Focus will also be placed on testing and improving transportation solutions and contributing to the establishment of a continuous network of filling and charging possibilities of sustainable fuels for cross border transport.
